Member Services Contractor
Overview:
Neighbors of Northern Columbia County is a 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit organization designed to help network people within our rural communities as they address issues of aging and/or living alone. Our model is a variant of the Village Movement concept, which has grown in popularity throughout the US in response to concerns expressed by those wishing to remain in their own homes as they age.
We are looking for a skilled and customer-focused Member Services Contractor to support our members and volunteers by delivering high-quality service and assistance. This is a 1099 contract-based part-time position, designed for a detail-oriented, well-organized individual who is empathetic and who can manage senior member inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and provide exceptional service. The role requires flexibility, as well as the ability to work independently while communicating effectively with our membership and our internal team. The preponderance of this position is home based with some exceptions.
Scope:
The Member Services Contractor will be responsible for responding to member inquiries, resolving account-related questions, returning phone calls, soliciting volunteers to fulfill service needs, enrolling new members, updating our member database, creating and printing marketing materials, and ensuring a positive member/volunteer experience. Must live within 30 miles of Chatham, NY
The position is 30-40 hours a month. Salary $20-$30/hr commensurate with experience and abilities. Submit resume to [email protected]
